From first hack to Hacker Team
It started with a simple idea: bring together students from our seven partner universities who love to build, experiment, and solve problems. And give them the opportunity to take their skills to the next level. The DeepTechHub Hacker Team is not a fixed team with a fixed agenda. Our hackers choose the hackathons they want to take on, and together we figure out what they need to make it happen. DeepTechHub can take care of things like travel, admission, and sometimes accommodation, while the hackers bring the ideas, skills, and energy.

The result is a growing community of hackers who learn from each other, compete together, and turn a weekend of hacking into something much bigger. And because the team grows with the people in it, we’re always looking for new hackers who want to join the next challenge.

Challenge accepted, challenge won. Our Hacker Team secured 1st place in their Company Challenge and earned a spot in the Final Pitch on the Summit Stage.

One weekend, three wins: 1st in the comstruct case, 3rd overall, plus the Reonic Special Prize for Best User Journey. Not a bad first hackathon for this team!
START HACK 2024
ctrl+alt+defeat made their mark, winning the Cisco Challenge and pitching their solution on the Main Stage in front of thousands.

Hackathons can be a great way to learn, build and meet people – but getting there isn’t always easy. Most of our hackers are students, and taking part in national and international hackathons comes with costs for travel, tickets, accommodation and everything in between. We want to make sure that a lack of funding doesn’t keep talented hackers from joining the next challenge.

How can you support the Hacker Team?
There’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to sponsorship. Whether you want to contribute financially, provide resources or bring your own ideas to the table, there are many ways to get involved:
- sponsoring the team or covering specific costs such as bus travel or hackathon tickets
- supporting our merch, with the option to put your logo on team apparel
- bringing your own hackathon challenge and giving teams a real-world problem to solve
- providing tools, infrastructure, expertise or other resources
- creating new opportunities for our hackers to learn, connect and compete
